Prenatal Pelvic Stability
In this prenatal session, we're practicing movements that encourage pelvic stability in a very low-impact, easy-going manner. This class can benefit all trimesters and may be especially helpful to those with pubic bone sensitivity (resting or stopping as needed).
The practice begins on a chair with the second portion done standing by a wall. We’ll finish the session on our mats with gentle stretches and rest.
The manner in which gentle core engagement is introduced here makes this a great session for postnatal practitioners, too, once medically cleared to begin low-impact exercises.
Props required: 1 chair (ensure it is a stable chair), 1-2 blocks, and empty wall space.
