Breath Awareness Practice

The moments we need to harness our breath the most are probably not during a yoga class. In class, we practice. In life outside of the yoga mat and studio, we put the tools we've practiced with to real use.

In this brief session, we're spending time feeling, noticing, and controlling the breath through basic breath awareness and a short 3-part breath pranayama practice. Consider this an exercise session for your rib cage and “breath muscles”, too.

The breath is a great tool for managing our nervous system. Practice using it so that it may remain accessible when you need it the most.
