Knee Power Session

The knee is a small joint in-between a smaller joint (the ankle) and a much bigger joint (the hip). That’s a lot of “pressure” for one small joint to take on, eh? But not if the surrounding tissue is strong and supple enough to properly manage the types of forces a knee joint faces regularly.

In this session, we are working to progressively strengthen the knee joint. We will start low to the ground with simple lower-body mobility work that progresses into more dynamic and high-intensity movements. Class ends with a series of squats (a low-intensity squat variation for sensitive knees will be provided).

Props required: 1 blanket, 2 blocks
